Transplants and thinnings

I got to transplant a Sweetie tomato that is bound as a housewarming gift to my neighbor.  I had fun washing the large pot I put it in, adding fertilizers to the potting soil I filled it with, and planting the tomato  deep in the soil after pulling off the bottom two sets of leaves.  It is destined to live in her sunroom, but for now remains in my greenhouse.
I also thinned my planting of beets today and used the little leaves in my lunch time salad.  Yummy, earthy goodness.
